Reference selector multi select

Hi iam using Templategrid in reference selector but it is not allowing me for muti-selection. is there any way to achive multi-selection in Reference selector. error msg:

If you want to allow multi-selection, you'll need a reference set selector rather than a reference selector. This will allow you to select more than one object to make an association with.
