URL Redirector DEPRECATED?

Hello, Looks like Mendix URL Redirector widget has been deprecated in Mx v8.18.7, just wanted to understand: 1) Why Mendix has done so?  2) What is the alternate solution to achieve the same use case?   Regards, Johnson.

Hi Johnson,

Which widget are you referring to? I can be that this was an old widget (based on the old widget framework), but I’m not sure. I see there is also a new redirect widget in the app store (Redirect URL using JS), did you already try this one?

It’s annoying it’s deprecated as I’ve been using it a lot as well.

An alternative is to use Nanoflow Commons, there is an action to open a URL in there that can be used to achieve the same thing.
