I have a Mendix 8 application that uses the Maps widget (version 1.0.5). I use the ‘Context menu’ for location based user interaction and ‘Overlays’ for visual feedback. When I experimented with the Maps widget in Mendix 9 (Maps version 3.0.3) all this seems to have disappeared. I also saw the unanswered question 108675 about the maps widget, which adresses this. Can anybody shed some light on what happened here? Are there some release notes that tell what happened? Is there a workaround to have this functionality with Mendix 9? I use OpenStreetmap data, so I am not interested in GoogleMaps feautures.
