Bottomsheet widget render mode: custom not working

Hi, One of the requirements we have for our project is to implement a bottomsheet, by the designs we got the bottom sheet widget from the Native Mobile Resources should suffice. The issue we are facing right now is that when implementing the widget it has 2 render modes: basic and custom. The basic render mode works but we need the custom render mode. The custom render mode is not visible at all when its triggered. We tried a new clean project and there the custom render mode does work. So we think its something in our project clashing but there isnt any error popping up when triggering the bottomsheet either. Does anyone have experience with this, whereby the bottomsheet is partly working? thank you
