If you want to make it editable and it doesn't allow it on it, first make sure that the settings of the dataview (whatever you used) in which you placed this dropdown are also editable. If you send a studio pro ss of this page, I can explain in more detail. I hope it helps .

You can check read/write access for association also you can check the associate object is not empty.
Does the userrole you are logged in as have access rights to read/write this association?

Pls check your entity access , For the logged in user. You should give both read and write access.
If you think, you have already given. Pls share screenshot of the entity access , if possible.
