Adding File manager functionality in third party widget

Hi All, I am working on custom widget in that we are using pdftron third party widget so my requrment is on the top of pdftron widget need to add one button and on the Onclick of button need to show one popup page in that we need to add file manager to select files from machine and on click of upload button that files should be save in Mendix Database example : (same like Mendix file manager ). So my question is can we add same mendix file upload functionality in third party widget is is it possible or not ? Thanks in advance
