Association property (ModifiableValue) is undefined

I'm trying to make a simple dropdown now w/ the association property type but my association object (ModifiableValue) keeps returning undefined. Any idea why? I'm using "@mendix/pluggable-widgets-tools": "^9.0.0"

In case anyone hits this later on, don’t name a property “ref”. I changed the property name and it worked.
