I am using Mendix Studio Pro Version 9.6.1 I am using searchable reference selector Mx Eight widget for an attribute of entity remaining attributes are either text box or reference selector. Can anyone assist me regarding how to validate searchable reference selector as like other widgets in Mendix.

I might be misreading your question but would an on change micro or nano flow not suffice to do the validation? In there you could check whatever you want and even set the reference back to empty if the validation is not met. Or am I missing what you are trying to achieve here?
