de-clutter line chart with dates in X axis in native mobile

I am working on a native mobile app, and I have data that is getting stored in an entity. This line chart uses the data from that entity with some values on the y axis and the timestamp of when that data was created in the X axis. Sometimes the scaling works great, but occasionally, when the amount of data increases, the timestamps seem to overlap and get all messy. Is there any way to mitigate this or remove the dates entirely? Honestly, for this application hiding the x axis would be optimal. All I can see in terms of appearance editing is this. Since this is a native mobile app, my options are limited. I would appreciate any advice that anyone has with regard to this.
