Looking for a way to count time starting from 00:00:00

Hello, I want to count time starting from an onShowPage event or a button press. The current time should be shown on the screen and after another button press the time should be saved in a database with some other variables. Is there a way to do this? All I found were widgets that count down and then fire an event.   With best regards

This widget just counts the time down from a pre defined time right?
I am looking for something that is more like a stopwatch, than a countdown.
