How do I configure Data Grid 2 to allow for drop down filtering on an association?

Apparently this feature was added in version 2.6 of Data Widgets, in Mendix 9.23. When I try to configure it to work in my application using 9.24.11, I get this error: This is what my column options look like: Module has a 1 to many association with Location. (One module object is associated with many location objects, just to be clear on directionality). Not sure how I should change my configuration to enable the drop down filter to work. I am using 9.24.11, but it doesn't let me select that version when asking a question.
