The module has not been updated for almost 3 years now. If you look at the comments, some people complain of incompatibility in Mx 10.x.

Could be an issue with certain incompatible java libraries. Importing modules might lead to conflicts (different versions of jar files in the userlib directory).

You can check out the this section about the excel module or this section about community commons about obsolete or conflicting dependencies.

Rule of thumb: You can delete older versions of the same jar file

In this example, you can remove the 2.5.2 versions.

But be sure to make a backup of you userlib directory before taking these steps, just in case you deleted a file by accident.
