No close on select in AutoComplete Multiselect doesnt work

We know that when we set "Yes" in the "No close on select" option in the Behavior tab of AutoComplete Multiselect in which the data retrived from domain modal table, the "No close on select" works as intended. However, it doesn't work when manually entering data using a clipboard button. Is it designed to close the list with each selection when manually entering data using a clipboard button? If there is a way to prevent the list from closing every time during manual input, I would appreciate your guidance. Best Regards, Sana Tsuruoka Sana
