Dynamic Ordering of columns in data grid

Hi, I was using Data grid extension widget to dynamically move or hide columns in data grid. However, App store shows that this widget will no longer be maintained. Does anyone know an alternative way to achieve the same behavior without using this widget?

Not me, but I do know that Mendix has a complete overhaul of the ListView and DataGrid on the roadmap. Hopefully, it will be awesome. So I think you need not to worry too much. If it works in 8.3 it will very likely be working in the near future and become obsolete once the new ListView becomes available.
