Hiding Column in XLS Report module

I am exporting an excel from a data grid by using XLS Report widget , Ho I can hide a specific column in out put excel file? Please note i can’t do it in excel it should be done in mendix

If you really want to hide a column, so it is exported and can be set to ‘unhide’ in Excel again, this is not possible with neither the default Export to Excel button not the the Excel Exporter widget. If you just want to not export a specific column from a table, not being able to ‘unhide’ the column in Excel, use the Excel Exporter module from the AppStore and configure your own export template to use.
