Workflow Tasks getting disappeared after initiating?

Hello Everyone, We have created a workflow in our project which assigns the task to the current user or whomsoever initiates the task but we are facing this issue from 2-3 days if the current user do not open the task or performs it and goes to task inbox page after sometime or next day the workflow task got disappears? We checked the database the object is getting stored but from there as well it is getting removed. Any thoughts/suggestions will be appreciated. Thank You
