I am trying to create a custom time line for a workflow. how I can get the history of all previous user tasks with updated date and Outcome. Please guide me how to retrieve workflow previous activities list from the workflow object.

I think you are asking about the timeline for the workflow activity, if that’s the case you can use the Snip_WorkflowView_TaskTimeLineOnly snippet in the Workflow Commons module.
