How to create a report-table with workflow content (id, name, etc..) but in the same row the status of the workflow too?

I would like to create a report-table that contains workflow content but also the status of the workflow. To be exact, the columns should contain the content of the workflow (name, birthdate, etc..), however we would like to see in the same row the status of the process and the date it was started too. My question is how should the entity tables be associated with each other and how can the data be displayed in the same table? (We have read possible ways, but in studio pro version 10.1 we couldn't generalize system.workflow, which is how association was suggested.)
