Multi-Tenant

0
Dear All,   The multi-tenant module has not been updated since v7, so it is not possible to use it any more.  No replacement seems to have been issued.  It seems not to be possible to constrain entity access based on an attribute in XPath.  Therefore, does anybody know how to go about implementing multi-tenancy, so that (for example) an administrator for a particular tenant could see (say) all users belonging to the tenant, where a regular user cannot?   Kind Regards,   Nick.

You could still download the modeler for Mx7 and testdrive this module. Once you grasp the idear you can then copy that to your own model. The basic idear is that you create one tenant entity and attach that one to all the other entities. You can then create a XPath that makes sure you can only see objects attached to that same tenant entity.

Ronald
