When editing XPATH statements [%CurrentObject%] changes to string

When editing an xpath statement and adding a link to an attribute within the xpath '[%CurrentObject%]' get changed to '[CurrentObject]' throwing an error e.g. [Object1/Object1_Object2/Object2[Attribute = ‘A’]/Object2_Object3 = '[%CurrentObject%]' ] If I edit [Attribute = ‘A’] the editor will change '[%CurrentObject%]' to '[CurrentObject]' This happens in Version 9.23.0
