Gallery vs List View

0
In learning path "Rapid Developer" the templates used for each page includes galleries. These are having different behavior than what is suggested in the instructions. For example, I can not add a button into the container within the gallery as suggested in chapter 5.2. It can be placed under or above but not within. I have tried to replace the gallery with a list view which works more closely to the functionalities in the instruction of the learning path, however the layout is not possible for the list view.    Basically, with the template that involves gallery (though the template is called "list") I can't follow the instructions. But with the List view, I can't follow the design and layout.    What can I do? And have I done something wrong in a previous step of the learning path?   Thanks in advance

Hey Philip,

These tutorials in the learning paths can be pretty tricky. There is a chance some of the weirdness can be because you are using a different version of studio pro than the tutorial (I must have 15 different versions on my machine by now lol).

But you should be able to add a button to a container inside a gallery element, below is an example in how it might look in the Page Explorer (on your left sidebar)

In general I use the design made pane when I'm seeing how things look, but for adding things I find dragging it into the page explorer or moving to "Structure Mode" (in your top-bar of studio pro) is easier to place things.

There's a chance that something else is going on, feel free to put some screenshots in here with some more info if that doesn't help!
