It would be nice if we could update page variables in microflows and nanoflows. Especially, if we wanted to display an validation message at the top with a concatnated string of error messages from a validation sub mf. Instead of having to create a non-persistent entity.
I was just looking into the same thing, If variables are meant to replace NPE's in simpler cases then this feature is actually required for it to work propperly.
