with email(Email connector Module) can can we send dynamic Excel which content sales orders.

Hello Every One,   Currently i have one purchase order form on submission of that form i am sending mail to required Users by using Email Connector Module,  but now customer wants to  excel sheet with the mail which content the raised Purchase order details in it. Can we achieve this if yes how? please give in detail (Already email triggering functionality is achieved need excel thing)

Hi Shankar,

I understood that you need to send the excel file as an attachment to your email.

If yes, 

it needs to split into 2 parts.

1. Prepare the Excel file in Mendix. You can create content for xml and then create a FileDocument object with .xlsx extension - with this your file object is ready 

2. Now use Attachment_EmailMessage assocation in email connector and populate this association for the file object you created in step1. 

3. in your SendEmail microflow, set the attribute of hasAttachment for EmailMessage entity to true and the connector will take care of adding attachments to the email body.

Hi Shankar,

In OnSubmitted microflow generate your excel logic & when you are sending email check there is one association attachments create the object of attachment & set association and send email activity check there one attribute hasAttachment pass there true.
