SAML - 404 file or directory not found error appearing on SSO url entry

Hello, we are configuring SAML SSO for our Mendix Production application and we are immediately seeing 404 - file or directory not found when we navigate to the https://siteexamplename/SSO/ path. Our Azure production app registration is created appropriately with federation metadata URL appearing to map over correctly through the SAML/IDP configuration interfaces. Within our development environment, the AzureAD/SAML configuration is working just fine on our localhost instances but not functional in our production instance. Any suggestions on what could be causing the issue? Is the URL rewrite set for /sso?
