New to Mendix

AWS Translate connector fails with “Access Key Id needs a subscription for the service” — new AWS accountI’m using the Amazon Translate connector in Mendix (Studio Pro 11.12.1) to call TranslateText. I keep getting this error:TranslateText: The AWS Access Key Id needs a subscription for the service (Service: Translate, Status Code: 400)Details: • IAM user has TranslateFullAccess attached directly • Access key is active and correctly referenced in the “Create Credentials” activity • Region is set to us-east-1, matching the console • AWS account and access key are only ~24 hours old • AWS Support case is open (category: “Account Activation, General Question”) but no response yetHas anyone run into this with a brand-new AWS account? Is this purely an account activation delay on AWS’s side, or is there something Mendix/connector-specific I should check (e.g., connector version, request payload format) that could cause this same error message?

Hi Chen,

That's very strange. Just to be sure I also tried with SP 11.12.1 and had no probems. So it must have something to do with you AWS subscription. We can't help you with that.

Things to verify:

Did you subscribe to Amazon Translate and have billing in place?

Did you try to test a translation in the AWS console yourself?

And when succefull, try again with that IAM user?
