When Mendix sends out notifications about upcoming infrastructure maintenance (e.g., PostgreSQL upgrades), the email often does not specify the exact date of the upgrade. This makes it difficult for us to notify our own customers in advance.
While we understand that upgrade status and timing can be checked in the Mendix Portal's Maintenance tab, it is not practical for us to log in and check manually on a regular basis — especially when we need to plan customer communication ahead of time.
Suggested improvement:
Please include the exact scheduled date (or a narrow, confirmed time window) directly in the notification email, along with a clear summary of the expected impact — such as expected downtime and whether the application will be fully or partially unavailable.
This would allow us to plan and communicate proactively with our own customers, rather than relying on manual portal checks.
