Is Mendix still in high demand in 2025? (PHP dev considering a shift)

Hi everyone,   I'm a former PHP full-stack developer and I'm considering learning Mendix.   Is Mendix still in high demand in 2025? Would it be a smart move to start learning it now, especially coming from a traditional programming background? I’d love to hear thoughts from people actively working with Mendix or closely following market trends.   Thanks in advance!

Mendix is very popular, particularly  for rapid application development .

Demand is very high in banking, insurance ,manufacturing and logistics where low code solution are valued.

your PHP skill/experience will also help further in mendix development.

Yes it is, at least if I take the linked in requests that I get into account. And if you have a programming background you will learn Mendix in no time. I would advise to do the crash course: https://academy.mendix.com/link/paths/82/Crash-Course

After that you will know if Mendix is something for you.
