How to confirm my application goes well on Request New Node

I have submitted an application to get Mendix license key through "Request New Node".The last page on the application, I got some message like " sent email as confirmation" (not sure exactly).However, I didn't get any email since I submitted on last Wednesday (it is Tuesday today).Is this normal?Or, did I make wrong operation?How shall I know current situation?

Yes, this can happen and it does not necessarily mean that something went wrong with your request.

When you submit a “Request New Node” for a Mendix license, the request goes through an internal approval and provisioning process on the Mendix side. The confirmation message on the page usually just means the request was submitted successfully, but the actual license key email is sometimes sent after the request has been reviewed and processed, which can take a few days.

If you have not received anything yet, there are a couple of simple things you can check:

  • Make sure the confirmation email did not go to your spam or junk folder.
  • Verify that the email address you used in the request form is correct.
  • Check in the Mendix Portal under Control Center / Nodes (if you have access there) to see whether the node was already created.

If nothing appears there and you still have not received an email after several days, the best step is to contact Mendix Support through the support portal and include the details of when you submitted the request. They can quickly check the status of the node request on their side.

So in short: waiting a few days without receiving the email is not unusual, but if it has been about a week it is reasonable to follow up with Mendix Support to confirm the request status.
