The SCALANCE LPE enhances the Industrial Edge Device portfolio and provides to our customers the flexibility to integrate it perfectly into the network (e.g. standalone or as integration in the switch).
...and at the same time meets the high industrial requirements, such as no battery built-in, industrial memory, SFP interface, extended temperature range and much more.
The hardware is there - Let’s get the market place applications ready for the new architecture and thus leverage the advantages of the Industrial Edge Ecosystem.
The first applications are available and further will follow soon (e.g. SINEC Traffic Analyzer planned for next month).
