We discovered a couple of new things that can cause a firmware update on a edge device to fail.
- If you have the IE Log Viewer or Dozzle app installed on the edge device, it will keep the log file open causing the firmware update to fail and revert back to the previous version.
- If you have Logging & Monitoring turned on in the edge device Settings > Logging & Monitoring page. We could not get the firmware update to work until we turned this setting to Off.
