Currently, when in a Data Importer document the source file has to be updated, new NPEs are created rather than updating the existing one. This means, that all associations, access rules and so on have to be manually fixed and if some new data has to be imported, the whole configuration has to be done from the beginning.
My suggestion is to make these documents editable, so that updates to the source files can be done without unnecessary efforts.
