Which quality checks have you automated in Mendix, and how?

Hi all,

I’m looking at automating more of the quality checks in Mendix and would like to learn from what other teams have already done.

  1. Which checks have you automated, and how? For example Best Practice Recommender, mx check in CI, Studio Pro extensions (Marketplace or your own), Model SDK scripts.
  2. Is there a check you would like to automate but can’t today, or that your current tools don’t cover?
  3. If you built something yourself: was it worth the effort, and what was hardest to maintain?

Thanks! I've looked at MxLint, MTA seems more about testing though.


I was mostly curious how other teams handle it in practice. Do you actually run something like MxLint on every change, or does it end up being a check someone runs once in a while? In my experience the findings get ignored pretty quickly if there are too many of them, so I'm wondering what worked for others.

Hi Tandara, there are several options for example implementing Mx lint an opensource project backed by Cinaq. Or integrating MTA a licensed tool build by Menditect. What exactly are you looking for with your questions?
