I have been testing the external DB connector's auth methods for Databricks. Currently, OAuth2 isn't supported, and only Personal Access Tokens (PATs) are available.
There is a workaround to put the secret into the connection string however this is ofcause not nice. IMO this could already be solved by using the PW field in the config UI as constant to reference in the connection string.
Are there any plans to add OAuth2 as a supported auth method in the future?
This limitation makes it difficult to use the connector for production applications.
