Yep, I’ve run into this before. When you rename a user role, the accounts in the database still point to the old role. Everything might look fine for a few days, but after a restart/deploy (like in Acceptance), those accounts can’t “find” their role anymore and disappear from the Accounts overview.
A couple of ways to fix it:
Easiest: recreate the old role name so the accounts show up again.
Better: move those accounts to the new role with a small microflow.
Going forward: try not to rename roles — it’s safer to create a new one and migrate users.
