Action Required – Planned migration to .NET 10 Runtime

Hi SIMATIC AX Community,

With .NET 8 reaching its End of Life in November 2026, we are preparing early support for the new .NET 10 Runtime. This ensures a secure system going forward and gives you sufficient time for smooth migration.

Here are the key points:

• The 2504 Release package will not be migrated, as it will already be out of support by then.
• The 2510 Release package will be migrated to .NET 10.
  We plan to switch all components by June 2026.
  Please note: Components will migrate gradually, so .NET 8 and .NET 10 runtimes will be required side-by-side on your machine until the migration is complete.
  

To keep you informed, we will provide banners on our website with updates.

• As preparation, please install the new .NET 10 runtime on your system.
  
• Running .NET 8 and .NET 10 in parallel is supported.

There should be no blockers for your productive systems.
