Hi all,I know that in ST casing does not matter - everything is allowed. Still, I would like to know if there is a kind of recommendation / style guide regarding casing (PascalCase, camelCase, ...) from SIMATIC AX. For classes, FBs, enums, ...Thanks,Klaus

Yes as mentioned ST itself is case-insensitive but it is good to follow certain pratices everywhere for easy understanding.


  1. PascalCase - Class, Function Block & Enum
  2. camelCase - Parameter & Variable
  3. CONSTANT_CASE - Constant
  4. snake_case - Filename
