It would be great to have a possibility to restrict the permission to commit to a branch to a specific amount of project developers during the development.
In a situation that there is a code freeze for a specific branch, it should be possible to define not all developers are able to commit to this branch and only a specific amount is allowed to do that. This should prevent the accidential commits.
Bumping this, would love for this to be reconsidered especially now that Git integration is starting to shape up a bit more.
