I am creating a a sidebar type view for a datagrid2 so when you click on a row it shows a sidebar with further details of the user, in my other sidebar I have a data view listening to the datagrid2
So my aim is when I click on a row I call a nanoflow to toggle the sidebar while also selecting the row so my dataview can show it
However I get this error:
The row click action is ambiguous. Change "On click trigger" to "Double click" or "Selection method" to "Checkbox"
I can think of many cases where it would be useful to have both options, why is an action being ambiguous an error? I would have thought actions being ambiguous is up to the developer and restrictions shouldn't be placed on us
The other option I could think of is the ability to set a selection of a dataview from a nanoflow, will solve it that way too
Yeah thats how I've had to do it in the end, just annoying in the case the user clicks off the pop up but then decides they want to go back in it wont trigger the action again because there has been no change, got it 95% working just can see users complaining now about it not working sometimes
If I recall correctly, there is an action for "Selection change". I think this is what you need. I use it to mark a message as read, with a data view, listening to the datagrid2, that shows the actual message.
Can't check right now. Not sure which version this was introduced.
